Leons CP Rules

  1. Main css file should always be named style.css
  2. Sub menus should have the class ".sub"
  3. Do not use jQuery in the editable area.
  4. All images (except gallery) in one folder, named images. (This folder can have sub folders)
  5. No global styles, detailed css
  6. Every gallery, in a separate folder in galleries folder i.e. ( gallery/bathrooms, gallery/kitchens )
  7. No layout changes for different pages(with some exceptions - always consulted with me or Chris)
  8. Always use
    nav ul li a
    For Nav layout
  9. If using an active class, use class="active".
  10. Always create a submenu for menu(even if there none, upsellers may sell unlocked control panel )
  11. Don't use images from gallery on the website - make copy of an image you want use, and store in images folder
  12. Use everywhere single quotes
  13. Don’t merge different pages (for example testimonials and gallery)
  14. Don’t use 3x $(document).ready for every slider.
  15. Always make footer resizeable (cp footer with seo is way bigger than 50px)
  16. Put all css/js/images/ in media folder. Also use the same
  17. Don’t create folder for different plugins(for example slick has it’s own folder in one of the templates )
  18. Don’t upload PSD files on server - This Means YOU Bumhead.
  19. Use class “CONTROL-PANEL” to mark, where editable content should be.
  20. ALWAYS use captcha code on user-submittable forms. Even callback forms.
  21. Don’t use 20Mb image files as files as thumbnails, making it only smaller with html/css. Resize please
  22. Do not put slider files in their own folder (for example /slick/style.css) please stick to using the css and js folders that contain the other files such as main style.
